Yoga

 

Wendy teaches yoga in the Iyengar tradition which includes attention to the alignment in a pose, while bringing in her more meditative, intuitive approach.  With regular guided practice yoga can give you a general feeling of physical health and psychological and mental well-being.  Simple attention to the breath and breathing exercises, along with concentration and focus in the postures, helps to manage stress and relieve tension.  It can help to develop a deeper knowledge of your Self which can contribute to greater self-confidence.  With regular yoga classes, students have said they ‘feel uplifted’, ‘have improved posture‘, ‘sleep better’, ‘have good muscle tone development’, feel more positive and relaxed.’
